We had a delightful time biking around the Eastern Neck Wildlife Refuge and soaking in the stunning scenery of the Eastern Shore. Staying in the cozy Lavender Cottage was a treat, especially enjoying the sumptuous breakfast that kept us fueled for our adventures. Our grandchild loved spotting all the wildlife too!
My kids wished for more family activities during our stay.

The Deluxe King Room was really spacious and super comfy. It had a lot of thoughtful touches, like a small fridge and coffee maker, which were great for late-night snacks. The decor was cozy and well-kept, really adding to the vibe. I loved the huge salted chocolate chip cookies available in the library. definitely a nice perk. Plus, the vibe felt private and resort-like, which was awesome for relaxing after a busy day. I really appreciated the cleanliness throughout the stay.

Couples looking for relaxation
Had a magical sunset view from the dock each evening totally recharged my batteries. The owners were super welcoming and even shared stories about the history of the place while we enjoyed complimentary wine and cookies.
It wasn't exactly penny-pinching but worth every cent.
